THE TRUE MEANING OF A VIRTUOUS

The True Meaning of Proverbs 31

Who is this women described in Proverbs 31? Is she perfect? How does she handle all she that she does? In Proverbs 31:10-31, she is described as a wife of noble character. Her price is far above rubies (Proverbs 31:10)! Now, who is she? She is happy and content. She is also a great witness to those around her. This must mean that she isn't afraid to be different--to live a different lifestyle. She is dependable. She looks well to her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. She is kind and generous. She cares well for her children and her husband. She is the perfect woman, wife, and mother. She is wise. But most of all she is a woman who fears the Lord. What does fear the Lord mean? According to Strong's concordance, fear means "reverence." She lives her life for the Lord and she loves the Lord and she does everything to the glory of God!
Does it seem too good to be true that we can be like the woman in Proverbs 31? Good news! We can! It seems like she's too perfect for a human, and she is, but not for a human plus God.
We can never be perfect on our own. Jesus said, "Be thou perfect." We can be perfect with God's help and by searching the scriptures daily, and looking up to Jesus. Through Jesus all things are possible. Jesus said, "Come unto me all who are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart, you will find rest for yours souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30).
By being like the woman in Proverbs 31, we can be a great witness to those around us and we can share Jesus. I want the people around me to see Jesus in me--not myself. Jesus said, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me" (Matthew 16: 24). This means we must deny our self, give up everything to Jesus and follow him. How can we deny ourselves? By giving everything to Jesus, by giving our all!
This means more than just reading our Bible in the morning and going to church every week. These things are important, but we must ask ourselves, Is God a part of everything in my life?รข€ If not, we are holding something back and we need to give it up to Jesus!! By giving everything up to Jesus, the burden of trying to be perfect will go away and we will automatically be living it. No, we may never be perfect, as in faultless, but we can be perfect in God's eyes by becoming so dedicated to Him that we would rather die than to knowingly commit sin against Him. By doing this, we can be like the woman in Proverbs 31...far above rubies,

ADULERTY

Bible Summary. If you have committed adultery and really want to deal with it, you need to repent of your sin. When dealing with adultery you have to realize that adultery is lust, not love. You must realize that the only way to deal with adultery is to flee from it. Everyone in their heart of heart knows that adultery will not end well, but they are all caught up in the heat of the moment. If you are in right relationship with God through Jesus Christ, you will not be tempted to sin. Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ if we truly have Christ in our heart. See below for Biblical advise and scriptures on dealing with adultery.
Dealing With Adultery –
When dealing with adultery you have to realize that adultery is lust, not love. In an adulterous relationship, the adulterer is stealing and coveting their neighbor’s wife or husband. You are in conflict with Jesus’ commandment of loving your neighbor as yourself when you commit adultery with your neighbor’s wife or husband.
Romans 13.9 advises us not to sin and to treat others as you would treat yourself.
Dealing With Adultery – Flee From It.
Every one of us is tempted by adultery at some point in our lives. Our flesh when left to its own devices will commit adultery. You must realize that the only way to deal with adultery is to flee from it.
See Scripture 1Cor 6.18 advises us to flee fornication as we are sinning against our own body; Genesis 39'18  tell us how Joseph fled from the temptations of Potiphar's wife.
Dealing With Adultery – Realize You Are Dealing With Fire.
Adultery is just like a kid playing with fire. Everyone in their heart of heart knows that adultery will not end well, but they are all caught up in the heat of the moment.
See Scripture: Provebs6.29 advises us that adultery is a sin that will be punished.
